Regardless of which browser you use, close all instances of your browser, then open a new window and attempt the application again.
4. I looked under my application history, and it is not showing my resumes as being attached to my application. I know I have attached them each time. How can I submit my resume with these applications?
As long as there is a resume attached to your profile, the employer will still be able to view your resume along with your submitted application.
5. How can I delete my old resume and upload a new resume?
Please log into your account. Click on the preferences tab. Scroll to the bottom and you will be able to upload a new resume. Once you upload your new resume, you will be able to remove the old resume. To access the login page, click this link
6. I would like to change my email address and password. How can I do this?
Our system does not currently allow for email or password changes. If you would like to use your new address, please apply for all future positions using your new email address. If you would like to use your new email address for past job applications, please reapply for these positions using your new email address.
7. I have filled out all of the required fields on the first page of the application, but it is still asking me to fill in the higher education field. What do I do?
On the first page of the application, there is a question at the bottom about furthering your education. This question must be filled in order to continue with your application.
8. I keep receiving an error that my resume file type is not acceptable. What type of files do you accept?
We currently only accept .doc and .txt extensions for resume uploads. You can convert almost any file you have to a .txt file by going to: http://www.zamzar.com or http://www.media-convert.com
You can then save that file to your hard drive and upload it to our site and our system will accept it.
9. I do not have a cell phone and the application is saying it requires one. How can I bypass this question?
The cell phone is only a suggestion for the most suitable phone number for an interested employer to contact you. You may complete the application process by filling any phone number into the cell phone text box.
10. My references do not have an email address. How can I still submit my application without this information?
The reference section is not required. It is the last step in the application process. If you exit out of your browser, your application will be submitted without the references.
Once logged in, you will see a list of positions you have applied for. If the application status says pending, please click on the job title to continue with the application process. Please make sure the job that you were putting in the references for is there that way you can verify that your information was forwarded on to the employer.
11. I am stuck on the preference page. There is no continue button to move on to the next step in the application. How do I continue?
In the preference screen you will see "Job Market", "Job Categories", and "Manage Resume" where you can upload your most current resume. Please be sure to click the "Add" button to the right of each option box. Once you have added your job market and job category, a continue box will appear at the bottom of the screen.
12. How long does it take before an employer will contact me for an interview?
Career-Network only serves as a portal for employers to post their jobs - we are currently not hiring for internal positions and cannot recommend anyone specifically to employers.
However, please rest assured that once you fill out an application on our site that all of your information will now be in the hands of the employer who will contact you should they feel you are a good fit for the position they are looking to fill.
